Huckletree is part of the exciting. diverse and rapidly growing coworking landscape. We are looking for Community Interns to join the team, and give you the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of all our community roles, at Huckletree Shoreditch.

This role will put you through your paces and get you learning from day one. You will work within the location community teams and have the opportunity to work alongside our Marketing, Programming and Business Development teams, all against the backdrop of your city's thriving tech ecosystem and fast paced startup landscape.

You will be working from one of Huckletree Shoreditch

It’s important to note that this internship is a hands-on role and you’ll spend much of the day on your feet, getting to grips with everything from the meeting room tech to the coffee machines, even carrying the occasional box (or two!), so those who prefer sitting at a desk 9-5 need not apply!

You’re a tough cookie and know how to deal with complaints without taking it personally. You’re great at putting out (metaphorical!) fires, preferably before they happen. You are keen to work in a customer service capacity. Ultimately, you thrive off being right at the forefront of a people-based business!

    • Work with community team at Huckletree to ensure that the space is running smoothly at all times
    • Preparation and maintenance of meeting rooms, including welcoming guests and taking them to the rooms
    • Attend and assist with our internal events schedule, everything from learning workshops to inspirational speaker events
    • Learn the service agreement contracts and liaising directly with service providers whenever we need support
    • Manage the supplies budget, ensuring that we’re always topped up with top quality stock for the best prices
    • Cover front of house when they are on lunch, sometimes helping to open or close front of house.
    • Learn more about and engage with our members and the ecosystem, constantly acquiring feedback on the way
    • Ensure the space is looking tidy and ‘wows’ our members

    • You are passionate, positive, hard-working and energetic.
    • You have hands-on experience with building management.
    • You have or are interested in gaining experience with building management
    • You are a ‘fixer’ and are unphased by turning your hand to anything.
    • You have a strong customer-service mentality and you have the ability to generate respect and trust from all members and staff.
    • You are fast-thinking and reactive.
    • You are process-driven and with a detailed focus.
